New technologies
The Safir slaughterhouse has a whole meat boning machine, unique in South-East Europe for the technology it uses.
In the Safir Family slaughterhouse, poultry products are packed in a controlled atmosphere to preserve the meat properties and freshness, and stored in refrigeration or freezing rooms at constant temperature.
Activities within the defined scope of the management system, which integrate all components of our business into a coherent system, have a positive impact on food safety, the environment and occupational health and safety.
Purchased in 2000, the slaughterhouse was modernized in order to increase its slaughtering capacity (over 4,000 chickens/h).
In order to achieve high quality standards, significant investments of more than €7,500,000 have been made, with the entire manufacturing technology being set up in accordance with the relevant European legislation.
Safir chicken slaughterhouse has implemented an integrated management system in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, 22000, 45001 standards certified by QS Cert and BRC, IFS, YUM, BLK.
