One of the most important components of Safir's Group is the slaughterhouse.
Purchased in 2000, it was upgraded to increase slaughter capacity (4,000 heads / h) and beyond.
To achieve the highest quality standards, significant investments have been made, worth over € 5,000,000, the entire manufacturing technology being replaced and fitted under European legislation in the field: they were acquired and put into use modern packaging machines weighed, labeled, boneless thighs and chest machines, machines for mechanical boning meat and minced meat.
All products of Safir's slaughterhouse are under permanent control of the veterinary and environmental authorities and carried out in accordance with European standards.
The Poultry slaughterhouse, Safir, has implemented an integrated management system in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, SR EN ISO 14001:2015 and SR EN ISO 22000:2005, ISO 18001:2007, certified by QS Cert and BRC, IFS.
Permanent investments for the modernization of slaughterhouses are aimed at increasing the quality of products offered on the market and diversification, according to market requirements.
